Chateau Briand

Anyone having a wedding at Chateau Briand? Let me know what you have heard of the place?

I'm not getting married there but I have heard it is beautiful!!! Aren't they having a bridal showcase soon or did it happen already

I'm getting married at CB next Nov. There is a bridal showase there on Wednesday evening of this week... The place is beautifully decorated in an art deco style. The food is all prepared and cooked on the spot... I can't wait to go back there! The place is just stunning!

Our wedding is there later this year! It really is very beautiful and different from a lot of other RH's. Their showcase is this Wednesday night from 6pm to 9pm.

My friend had her wedding there in a room upstairs...it was a REALLY classy wedding! The food was great and we had a great time!

my sister got married there 3 years ago in the downstairs room with the big cocktail room. it was a great wedding!! everything was beautiful and we had no complaints!

I was just wondering. Did your package include chair covers or did you have to pay for that separately?

We're not using chair covers because our room (upstairs) recently got brand new chivari (sp?) chairs and it looks nice as is.

However, I've heard that most people have to pay for them although one LIW'er posted that she got them thrown in.

I'm getting married there in May and they threw in the chair covers, I didn't even ask for them, I just mentioned that I liked how they look

And me too!!! I can't wait!!

CB was my second choice...I am trully happy that even though it was my second choice I still get to go there for Enjft's wedding- it will be like me having my wedding there as well!!

Nah I am serious- I couldn;t have both JT and CB... I had to choose.... NOW i get to still experience both!!

thanks ladies for your reponses to my chair cover question. The BM at Chateau told me that were included but when i booked and went for my food tasting, the BM told me it was not included. since it was not in my contract, I spoke to the CFO and he gave me a lecture about how it was my fault for not making sure the BM put it in the contract. He said Chateau could not fork out their own money to pay for the chair covers for me. I was furious and upset that i ever signed up with them. of course that it is too late to think that way.

I am having my wedding there.. Jack is my BM and he threw the chair covers in for me.. I think he's pretty amazing b/c I pretty much got whatever I wanted without a problem..
