Jeff is mine too - he said we do everything 6 weeks before so I guess he was just postponing instead of outright saying no? - in any case - i dont think it will be a problem if we make a request

Re: Chateau Briand
Chateau Briand was our second choice (it was a hard decision at first between Sand Castle and Chateau Briand so it could have been first) - but the sales manager at CB flipped out on me when I asked if kids under 5 could eat free since SC offered me that. He said that no one eats for free, that they are running a business and that kids do not belong at weddings. He also did not offer us anything to drink, and on my second visit- he still did not. Instead he MOVED the drinks from the last visitors in his office and still didn't offer US a drink. It sounds like he was not the accomodating bm, and that had we met TOM maybe we would have chosen differently.
We are happy with our choice, but its too bad....

I am a CB bride also. I was told by my BM that there were no tastings. He said that twice a year they hold a bridal showcase and at that time I can sample some of the food and drinks.

Has anyone seen the menus that they print? Do they look ok??
I have not seen them but I think they are generic and just add our names to the top
Thats what I assumed. I was kinda hoping a recent bride or guest at a wedding at CB may have seen them or taken a pic. I want menus but I have so many other DIY projects to do so I was hoping the menus were decent.

i didn't get a tasting either! i was assuming that it would have been when we finalized the menu but now that i see you guys had a tasting a week or so after you booked i'm going to call and ask for one...
and i def want the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and jeff was kinda like oh its gonna be great outside, we dont do it inside and out... then i heard that someone had it inside and out so im going to bring that up with him too... i dont need the food that im paying good money for melting outside
