How long before the wedding did you all do your final menu setup/tasting? Thanks!

We had our tasting before we booked and I believe we did our final menu a month or so before the wedding.

We did our tasting and menu at the same time. I want to say it was about 3-4 weeks before the wedding.

We did our tasting like 8 months b4 the wedding, final menu was i believe 1 month b4.

we did our tasting right after we put the deposit down so that was like 7 months before the wedding. Menu about 1 month before

Never did a tasting bc I knew their food was really good from FIL. Menu one month before!

Tasting? They looked at us like we were crazy when we asked about actually tasting the food during our appointment with the Maitre'd. She actually told us that 'they don't do tastings'. We were a little disappointed, but we knew their food was good so we weren't that worried.

I booked way back in May and my wedding is in Sept. I haven't heard anything from CB since. I just assumed as the date approaches I would be contacted for a tasting, to pick the cake etc...
should I be worried?!

They send a letter about the menu and the cake. You have to call to make an appointment for it. As for the tasting we scheduled that ourselves before we booked with them. I think you have to tell them you want a tasting. They won't call and tell you when to have it.
We did the menu about 1-2 months before. It is whenever you make the appointment.
