Chateau Briand Help

Hi girlssss....I'm curious to know those who have just gotten married at the Chateau Briand or have been there recently.. Is there anyting you would recommend that you loved or is there things that you hated (food items). i just read a post from someone who said they messed up her cake but i am unsure what was messed up about it ( was it the flavor)? Also dj's keep asking me if I want lighting? Do you need lighting in the Normandy room?? TYIA

I went to a wedding here last month. The food was pretty good, except the veggie sushi rolls; it was more rice than the filling. The dumplings were a little overcooked, they were very mushy, but still tasted fine. The breads were delicious. The cake was good and they also had the ice cream sandwiches which DH loved.

It wasn't in the Normandy room, so I can't give any help with that.

We aren't doing uplighting since they have the uplighting in the walls. We are however having some crazy dance floor lighting in there!

The only thing I would say is you HAVE to try the Serendipity! Amazing!

Oh, and FH and I weren't fans of the eggplant.

Everything else was good!

Go for a tasting!

I personally loved everything I've ever had from cb. There is a new bakery now so there will be no problems. You def don't need uplighting in the normandy since they already have it for you!

yup they hope by their next showcase in Jan I hope Im crossing my fingers but Tom is very hopeful they are already started to paint the room.
