Does anyone know if CB offers a food tasting BEFORE you book with them?? I've never been to a wedding there so want to be able to taste the food before hand.

Yes, they def do. They gather a group of people and serve they're most popular dishes. The food is really good. I hope u like it

i wasnt offered one and I had asked about it after i booked and they told me they really dont do them

THanks! I'm going Monday to meet with a BM. I'll make sure to emphsize that i've never been to any of their functions and it's really important that we like the food before we book. I'm ok with a big tasting w/other potential brides to taste the food.

Fox Hollow does NOT do tastings, and they are owned by the same company. They go on their reputations alone.

I looked for a hall early 2009 and was told that they dont do tastings.

We'll see what they say. I'm sure the food will be incredible; lots of CB brides past/present/future that they've got have good food. Was just hoping to get a taste of what to expect :)
When i went to their showcase a few months ago they had small appetizers passed. Going again in August; maybe they'll have more then too.

I don't know about before, but I recently book with them and they told me they were gonna have a food tasting coming soon. I went to the FT and it was delicious (they only had one option for everything -1 kind of appetizer, 1 kind of main entrance, and so on- When I met with my BM for the 2nd time to sign the contract, he told me that they were gonna improve their FT and offer several of their most popular dishes. Also in August they'll have a Bridal Show Case, so don't forget to inquire about that too

I went to my food tasting after I booked. I arrived late because of school, but when I got there to meet up with my parents and FH, the main dishes were salmon, chateau briand, and the chicken dish with side of veggies! Everything was so delicious... and they even gave us dessert and unlimited alcoholic beverages from the bar.

if you speak to the right person they will set up a tasting for you during one of their events. I again didnt care about the tasting because I was already going to a few weddings their.

I didn't ask about the food tasting before we booked but she said that we could schedule one. After I signed the contract I asked if we could have one and she said absolutely. We are going this Monday so I will let everyone know what they offer and how it was!

BTW-i'll be there Monday night too meeting w/the banquet manager! Might see you enjoying your tasting as i tour the rooms! LOL!
