Is there anyone that had a wedding at CLM or has gone to a wedding there recently. I need some feedback on this place.
I saw the place last night and im a little nervous with the rumors that have been flying around about them. It seems to good to be true with all the food they offer and how reasonable they are with pricing. I would appreciate it.

Re: Chateau La Mer
I went to a wedding there in October and it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to, the food was excellent and the service was great.

Try doing a search on the Brides Review Board...there should be some reviews on there that may be helpful to you.

Re: Chateau La Mer
We have a CLM thread on the 05 board. Come check it out! There are quite a few of us!! Also, two brides, Nessa79 and MrsWask got married there this past summer. Their reviews are on the Brides Review board and are fantastic.
I am getting married there in November and I can't wait! So far they have been nothing but fabuolous. Great prices, beautiful place, amazing food and terrific service.
Can I ask what rumors you have heard about them? FM if you want-- thanks, and good luck with your decision.

Re: Chateau La Mer
I went there on NY Eve and the owners daughter drove us home! The party was over at 2 and the cab lines were outrageous. We were trying to get a cab to Babylon Village and the owners daughter was like I will take you no problem!
She was so sweet, she wasn't even going that way. She was headed for Massapequa. Anyway, just thought I would share.
We had a great time, the food and service were ok, but I assume it is not the same quality as a wedding. We were upstairs with about 200+ people!
All in all I have heard good things about the place.

everything there is outstanding. I would not worry about anything. I had a party there and they went above and beyond. The food was also really delicious and we had seven choices plus seconds!

I am also curious about the rumors. Feel free to FM if you don't want to post it here.
I heard one person tell my mom that the food there was bad, which I find hard to believe because the food I tasted was amazing. Other than that, I've heard nothing but good things.

I actually did a post on here and there was only ONE negative review on here from like 4 years ago to which others responded saying they couldnt believe it. The negative review was that the decor was in shambles (but they were redecorating!!!)
SO yea... everyone says it is amazing there and I am 100% confident my wedding will be great. The food there is amazing and Lou and nick are wonderful

I had my E-party there in April 2003 -- everything was wonderful and my guests raved about the food.

I go there once a month for work related meetings and everything is always great. The service is always so good there, even for a work event on a Thurdsday night, the staff is always so professional and nice and the food is so yummy! I am going there Tomorrow night actually
