Chateau La Mer

Hello all past and present CLM brides,

I am getting married at Chateau La Mer on Sept. 20, 08. Everyday I wake up I have a new list of question that I would like to ask Nick or Lou. To save them from killing me, I am turning to all of you to maybe help answer some of my stupid little questions. Thank you!
1) Has anyone had the candy cart at their wedding? Was there a lot of candy and were your guest able to take it home? If yes, did CLM provide bags or something or did you provide them?
2) I am having my ceremony at CLM. Is there someone there that is going to help line my party up and tell them when to walk during the ceremony?
3) When do I drop off anythings that I might have for the tables or chairs, i.e. favors, programs? Who puts these things out for us?
4) How far in advance do you pick your menu?
5) Any menu items that are a must have?
6) Did anyone get the personalized menus? Did you get to pick your colors or design? What do they look like?
7) I do not live in the area, so I will be getting my hair and make-up done out there? Any suggestion on where to go?
8) Any other advice or tips you might for me!

Your Matre'D and bridal attendant will help with this

The hall will decorate typically your Matre'd that is why they get a extra tip and staff helps. You drop off from what they tell me the Tuesday before your wedding. My florist will also take on some decorating tasks as well since they told me they will do certain things such as the place card table.

I was told two months or a month before.

5) Any menu items that are a must have?

If you did the tasting go with what you and fh really like then kind afeel out what your guests would like. We are choosing the (pardon spelling) chateau brian, veal chop, chicken fracaise, chillean sea base

I am going to changing images on Wellwood Ave. $50 for a updo can't beat that but do trails with them. My hair stil isn't set and I have to go back there.

Tons of picture locations around there. You have the beach, the doc, babylon town hall park, a park in amityville, etc.
