What are your opinions on Chateau La Mer? Anyone having their wedding there, or has anyone been to a wedding there?? Any information or opinions would be great!
I know I want something on the water like that, and from what I hear it seems to be a decent price. If anyone can recommend other places like this with a similar price that;d be great too!
Thanks

Re: Chateau La Mer
I am booked at Chateau La Mer and really excited about it! They gave me a great deal! I met with Nick, he's awesome.
IMO, I went to a few other RH's on the water, and CLM was my favorite. I was considering Riviera also but they wanted a $2,000 deposit and like $3,000 60 days after the deposit. That seemed like too much money too soon to me.
Def check out CLM!

Thanks! I just looked up harbor club and it looks gorgeous too! My mom mentioned Sans Souci the other day.

My sister got married there 5 years ago right after they renovated it. I thought it was absolutly beautiful...I would of considered having my wedding there....but I did not want to use the same venue as my sister. Food is great...my family didnt stop talking about how great her wedding was there.

I am glad you said that because some one was really trying to push the Riviera on me... I like CLM better as well.

Re: Chateau La Mer
I just had my wedding at CLM in May. Everything went perfect. THe staff made sure of it. Nick and my bridal attendant went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I only looked at places on the water. And while the decor at CLM was not my first choice the amount of food you get for the price was way better than the others I looked at.

ITA...decor wasn't my favorite (not bad, I was just looking for something different) but the food and the huge dome ceiling sold me

Re: Chateau La Mer
I visited Chateau La Mer when looking for venues. Fh and I had a food tasting and it was delicious. Nick (BM) is very nice and accommodating.
