Does anyone know what color the marble floor will be? Will the carpet remain the same?

the marble floor is white and black trim

They said they are redoing the carpet downstairs too..not sure when it will be installed but its ordered

I have to see it too but it's new and will probably look much better than a scuffed up floor

edited to say that Fh hopes no one will slip on it. Is it treated marble?

I am sure it will not be slippery...they don't want that kind of liability. Also, if you have been in the cocktail hour room, you will see that the dance floor is a marble/granite type floor....it looks slippery, but its not at all.

how nice!! when FH and I went to make our final payment, Nick told us about the new floor. I'm so happy to hear that putting it in went well and that it looks so nice! YAY ....LESS THAN A WEEK!!!

Hey girls! I am getting married in the upstairs room and I met with Lou over St. Paddy's weekend to finalize our menu. I saw they have the new carpet put in the upstairs room!!!! Yay!!! I was getting sooo nervous about that. The old carpet was this awful brown color and looked about a million years old. When we booked a year and a half ago, they told us it was going to be replaced then, but it did not happen until a few weeks ago. So relieved!!!

If I remember correctly, the new carpet is black with little white, yellow, and pink flowers??? Someone correct me if you have a pic, but I think that is correct.

They said the walls were not getting painted until after my wedding. Hmmm....glad to hear it!!! They came through after all! I just hope the creamy yellow color looks all right with turquoise!

I am a little nervous cause they said they are vaulting the ceiling in my room. That sounds really pretty, but I hope they are not doing it during my wedding! Lou says they do it over the old roof and then rip out the old one after the new one is finished. That sounds o.k. cause it will not affect my room, but I am wondering if my outside pics will show construction? It would be great if it gets done completely before my wedding.
