Chateau La Mer - Rate from 1 - 10

10 being the best, whether you were a bride there or attended a wedding there... rate your day and tell me what you liked and/or didnt like! Thanks...

You know whats wierd.. This was my FIRST choice and now I may end up with it again after all this craziness!!!!!

went to a wedding in the upstairs room there...don't know too much about it, but I didn't care for the set-up.

The bridal party came out from a side-entrance next to the bar...wasn't crazy about that.

Food at the Cocktail Hour was great though....don't remember too much about the dinner.

How many weddings go on at a time, how many rooms are there to choose from? Where do they do cocktail hour?

Can have up to two weddings at a time...there are two rooms (one up and one down). The cocktail hour is in a different room and outside (weather/time of year permitting). We are getting married in the downstairs room, which is bigger. Both IMO are beautiful....unobstructed view upstairs but nice large windows, high ceiling downstairs. Good Luck!

I give it a 10!!! I too, am biased though!

Two weddings at a time, depending when... I am a Friday night and we have it written on our contract that I will be the only bride in the building. If you go to a tasting you can get a great idea about the food- its amazing. Nick is wonderful to work with and the place is just gorgeous. My only regret about getting married there is that I didn't start it early enough to get the gorgeous view out the window... But I am 100% happy with my decision so far!! Good luck, and if you have any questions we have a CLM thread on the 05 board!

friend just went to a food tasting there this past tuesday. she ad'v the banquet manager was rude, walked away from her mother while she was asking him a question, and now that she was not pleased w/the food she is having difficulty getting her dep back, even though it is stated in the contract
