Chateau La Mer & Thatched Cottage

I am getting married at the Thatched Cottage. So clearly I like the place. But I also checked out CLM and thought it was very nice! The reason I choose TC was because I wanted that a really romantic feeling and that's what I felt when I saw TC. I thought CLM had a really glamorous hollywood feeling-- which is really great too- but I just wanted the romantic homey feeling.

I do think that CLM offered a better price per person-- and TC did not negotiate price much. If you do choose TC, try to negotiate add ons. We got a lot of add ons.

I would consider these three things:

Theme
Price
quality of food.

Although I am sure the food is great at both places! I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Good Luck!!

the manager and the receptionist...the manager i felt was kinda sexist and didnt want to speak to me and only was interested in dealing with my fh...which is funny since Im in charge of the finances and all that

Im getting married at CLM and they have been nothing but amazing. I dont think theyre sexist at all. I deal with everything and that seems to be fine with them. Everyone is sooooooo nice. They even let me make a late payment bc of the holidays.

i would go with thatched cottage...didnt like the attitudes of ANY of the staff at CLM

Really? So weird. We have had such great experieces with almost everyone (the old lady at the front desk IS a little crabby!) Nick and Lou have been really awesome!
