I think i read an older thread where someone wrote that they use Dortoni's bakery in Levittown for their cakes. Can any recent bride confirm this???

this is true, dortoni's has it on their website
i went last weekend for a cake tasting - just call up dortonis, tell them you want to do a tasting and that's your getting married at CHCC and they'll set it up for you

ok maybe it was your post i read last week lol. I actually went for a tasting today...yummmm!!! Omg so many choices i felt bad that I asked to taste so many! But they were delicious! I was concerned though bc when i told them i was a chcc bride she was confused and asked if I was certain they were their bakery. She said she knew they did cakes for Jericho Terrace and Woodbury Country Club. maybe she was just new there or something
btw - which flavor are you leaning towards? Fh and I picked 2 we like most but i had my mother and grandmother with me who disagree and of course my grandmother owned a bakery years ago so she thinks she knows best

we decided on the following fillings - sorry i just saw this post so i apologize for the delay! - vanilla buttercream icing - chocolate fudge - vanilla cake - raspberry fruit filling
i'm allergic to MANY things so it was difficult for us to choose flavors since we were so limited
