Have you checked the CHCC thread we have here? It should't be too far down. There's some pictures in the thread of the renovations. They changed the brass to wood and they took out the stone thing in the back. I liked the room the other way. FH likes this way. I guess I won't know until March.

Wait a minute, I heard the room was off limits until March. Have you spoken to your BM to find out if the Emerald room is finished?

FI and I looked at CHCC and we were shown the Emerald Room mock-up drawing they had done. I think it looks a lot more modern (in a good way). Not so...eightes with all the brass and chandeliers. I believe that there will also be windows somewhere along the back wall. Can't remember if the stuff like carpet/chairs etc. will be changed though.

new caperts, similar color as it is now
it should be done last week feb / first week of march.
my understanding was that i'll be one of the first to use the room...
i like both for different reasons... i like the old cause it was different... i like the new cause its a little bit more elegant...

as far as i know, there has been one picrure another bride found somehow that shows the drawing of how it will look
im not crazy about it, and get sick everytime i think about it but i hope to see it in march when its done and i hope ill love it
Hummm not sure if I like if more or not, if that was the pic. There are things I like and things I don't like. As long as there are plenty of windows because that is what we were going for.
