Hey girls. Just want to let you know that i went to go see the plaza room tonight (couldn't take any pics bc there was a CH that was about to start) and the dance floor and the carpet look great. AND the biggest suprise of ALL....................

THEY CAN SUPPLY UPLIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will just have to talk to you BM to find out how much they charge for it!

Hope this makes all of the CHCC brides happy!

You know, I asked my BM Leo if they do uplighting now, and he flat out said no.

I just sat w my BM last sat. we were going to book uplighting but we wanted to compare it to our DJ and to be honest our DJ is $60 more but we get more lights. and the lights from our DJ change colors whenever we want. As for CHCC...they do have uplighting and it is $600 + 20% for a service fee + tax. so it comes out to be like 782. CHCC can not (as I was told) change colors it is one color all night long.

Is it just me or do I not understand the concept of uplighting? If a room already has it, they are gonna charge each party an extra $600+ just to turn it on????????? That sounds crazy to me-- I know it must have cost a lot to get it put in but why is it so freakin much?????????????!!!!!! ughhhh (even though I know I will end up paying for it lol)

I was told from my BM and DJ, they are boxes that project light. So CHCC said the would set up 18 boxes in the plaza room but my DJ uses 24 boxes. HTH
