CHCC Question

Does anyone know if they will allow a memorial table at the cocktail hour? Originally we were going to put the names of the deceased on a pillar candle to light during the ceremony, but there's no way I can fit everyone's name on the candle unless it's in itty bitty type. My new idea is to keep the pillar candle for the ceremony, not list any names, and have pics of the deceased on a memorial table. But that hinges on whether CHCC allows the table. Thoughts?

I don't see why they wouldn't, especially for such a sensitive issue.

I do not think they will have a problem with it but just remember that the table will take away from the space for the cocktail hour.

For our wedding we ended up putting the pictures of the people who were deceased on the same table as the place cards so we knew everyone would see it.

That's a really good idea! So I'm guessing they use a large enough table so you have room for both.

We told them in our final meeting that we wanted to do it and they did a long table so there was enough room
