Has anyone been able to use a florist that isn't on the recommended list? I'm trying to book my florist now but I'm not really impressed with the ones on the list. I would love to use the florist my family has been using for years. Has anyone been able to get around this?

my sister got married at CHCC and she didnt use any of their vendors...

You don't have to use the recommended vendors. I'm using Thomas Paul as a photographer and he's not one of the house vendors. Use whoever makes you happy hall twin!

I'm not using any of their recommended vendors in general, but wasn't there a weird stipulation about the florist? I think they just had some bad encounters with a few vendors. Maybe you can get them to approve the one that you do want to use though.

OMG!!! That's funny. I'm getting married in the starlight room! It's upstairs and my cocktail hour is outside by the pool. What room are you in?
They do have something about the florist, I have to see what I can do. I'm not using any of their other vendors, I just wasn't crazy about them.

My wedding is in the evening and I'm in the Empire room upstairs. Dont know about cocktail hour yet since we're doing it inside, but I'd be happy with anything except the suburban room (since it will look the same as our main room). I'm so excited though! It's so beautiful over there and I've heard great things about the outdoor cocktail hour.

This is so exciting!! I just hope the weather holds out that day! That's the only thing I'm nervous about. Are you getting chair covers?? I saw a picture of the room with the chairs covers and it looked awesome. I can't decide.

Haha, I can't decide either. I dont love the chairs, but they actually kind of match my theme/colors...we're doing an old hollywood glam style, black red and white look. So since they basically work I'm leaning towards using the money on something else. But if we were doing totally different colors then I may feel differently. What are you thinking?
So is yours early or late? It would be so funny if we will be there at similar time.

My colors are hunter green and ivory with a little bit of black accents. My cocktail hour starts at 6:30 and the reception starts at 8. I can't believe we're hall and date twins! How funny is that.

Haha, wow, my ceremony starts at 7:00 so we will definitely be there at the same time. Thats so funny that we're both on here too! We could like, coordinate bathroom baskets or something

Aw, yeah, we should take a pic! If you'd like to I totally would love to team up on something. I don't have any specific idea right now but if you think of something let me know! I'm gonna fm you so I don't lose you in the shuffle of the boards.
