Can anyone recommend someone who does ceremony music that doesn't charge a arm and a leg. I really don't want to use the dj.

I'm using M.A.S. Music . I believe her name is Marie. She is a vendor on here. She is really nice, comes to your house for the first meeting and is really well priced. I didn't think i would be able to have ceremony music until I met with her.
Her phone number is (917) 841-1617.
HTH!

I worked with Ten Strings Music Studio for my ceremony. The prices were reasonable and lower than most vendors. They were phenomenal! Contact info found on my wedding review link found on my profile.

Re: cheap ceremony music
If you like piano music this vendor played at my friends wedding and did a beautiful job. He charged her $350 for the cocktail hour and the ceremony or I believe he is $200 just for the ceremony. He is the only guy under 'piano' on the vendor section.
We used the pianist from our band, Soul Revival . It was easy and he was really good, plus reasonably priced

We're using the Carpricio Ensemble (sp?). I found them here on LI Weddings. I've been dealing with Natalie and she's been wonderful-- sent us a bunch of CDs with samples and is helping us with doing some pretty non-traditional ceremony songs. FM me if you'd like her info!!
