Check out www.sunny.org - Fort Lauderdale has great deals - lots of good boutique hotels, a couple of upscale choices too. Great dining on Las Olas Blvd. Good luck!

We got a pretty good deal for Vegas..they have a lot of deals right now (and were going during the peak bc of my schedule so off peak would prob be reallllly good) HTH
