Cheap Mansion on Long Island for wedding

Hi. Someone I work with told me they went to a friend's wedding in Long Island. It was in a Mansion I believe owned by the Federal, State or Parks department and that it was extremely cheap to use because it was on federal property???? He couldn't remember the name though. Does anyone know about this place or a possible name??? Thanks

Can someone tell me more about the Timber Point Mansion??? I'm really interested in it.


We looked at it, it was very pretty. It's not a mansion, really, though, more like a country club.
