I'm looking for super affordable venues or ideas for inexpensive weddings . We just bought a house so a 30,000 wedding just isn't possible for us .. Thanks for any suggestions!!

check out this thread: http://www.liweddings.com/chat/topic-826319-1.html It's a list of all inclusive venues on LI. Some may have changed though so def give them a call to make sure. When I went to East Wind, they were only offering all inclusive in the main house all year round, and in the estate/cottage in the winter only.

Also, we had our engagement party on the Lauren Kristy - its a paddle boat that goes out of BayShore. We had about 100 ppl and it was still roomy w a big dance floor. You can use your own caterers too!

Depending on how big your guest list is, the place I'm getting married at has a smaller room which is affordable and my FSIL got married at the Bates House in Setauket. It would be a 'do it yourself' wedding, but she saved money that way.

I am pretty sure that Smithtown Landing is one of the least expensive Lessings options. West Sayville Country Club is great too. Both of them have all-inclusive packages with good vendors (as far I know).
I did A LOT of research in an effort to find great but affordable vendors. Here are a few I booked: Sir Oliver Limo Flowers by Liz FM Entertainment
If you are computer savvy you can save a lot of money by printing invitations yourself. My cousin got her invitations on sale at Michael’s and printed them at home. I am hoping to find a design that I can purchase on Etsy and print/package myself through Vistaprint.

Def try Stewart Manor they r pretty cheap and have all inclusive. Also the cheapest day of the year to get married is the Friday after Thanksgiving. Also Wed before. Also Jan-March dates saves you a ton of $$
