When I lived in Bklyn I knew where to go to buy cheaper beauty supplies...stores that supplied the actual salons. No such luck so far for such stores near Long Beach. I've checked out ULTRA but it seemed more high end.
I dont mind going into places that just stack up cartons of product. Store doesnt have to look pretty ...would rather save the money!
I went to H2O last yr- Greenwich Village location- w/ a bunch of ladies from work. EXPENSIVE place. Bought a body glossing spray that I LOVE! Trying to find a simliar product at a cheaper price.

There is Merrit Beauty Supply in West Hempstead on Hempstead Ave.
There is also one in Freeport on Sunrise next to the peir one shopping center, i dont remember the name.
I thought there was one in longbeach on the block before the IHOP? i havent been there in a while so i am not sure if it closed...

YEP_ thats right there is one near the IHOP I forgot about that one. Will ck it out when the baby lets me!

You don't mean like a Sally's? There is one on Sunrise Hwy in Lynbrook next to Pizzeria Uno.
But there is also a Lucky Beauty Supply on Grand Avenue in Baldwin, the stuff there is cheaper too.

How about Harmon's? I love that place and things are cheaper. I know there is one on 110 and I go to the one by my work in Plainview.

Phyl, isn't there a cosmetic warehouse on Lawson boulevard across from the big red warehouse with the candycane shaped marquis on the top?? I always drive by but never go in and wonder if they are open to the public? They are on the side of the block where the cheesecake store is before you get to the train station closer to longbeach on lawson blvd. Let me know if you check it out, I am curious. I live in Oceanside so I pass there every morning on the way to the train.
