cheapest months

does anyone know the cheapest months to get married? I can't decide on which month in 2012 and I figured to find out the cheapest months

that way maybe a place I wouldn't be able to afford I now could since it's not a peak time.

when I was looking, April was the start of wedding season, so it was more expensive than Jan-March, but not as expensive as May-Sept (at least at the places I looked). I think October depends on where you look, some still consider it high season, some don't. December could be tricky because of all of the holiday parties that people hold at RHs. HTH!

We asked about prices for pretty much every month...we found that April-October are the highest. November and December were lower, but not the lowest...some places were actually still high in December b/c of the holidays they said.

January to March were consistently the least expensive.

While Jan-March are def very cheap, I actually got a great deal in July! I think July and August can be decently priced as well

I was actually told by my BM and someone else that now a days there is no true off peak wedding time. The times that used to be less popular are becoming more common because people are under those assumptions. I'll tell you mine is at the end of October and I think it's the same price as something going on in May or June.

I'd say you have to judge by individual vendors and RH's. If you put the word 'Wedding' on ANYTHING the price is gonna jump astronomically! Good luck!

you can also save if you are flexible with the days you are having it
sat is the most expensive
then fri, then sunday
now it seems that thurs weddings r becoming very popular as well.

I want mid Oct in 2012. hopefully it's not going to be crazy expensive :( if anything we were talking about maybe a Thursday night if we really fell in love and had to have the place.

I hear Oct is like one of the biggest wedding months. Its very popular. I think its a little cheaper than summer...but not by much
