I'm on a quest to have a fabulous wedding for cheap ...my THURSDAY wedding says it all lol. I've negotiated, shopped around, DIY'ed some stuff, researched day and night. I've cut costs in every single aspect of the wedding one way or another.

Re: Cheaping out?
we are trying to avoid limos if possible since we are getting married at the RH but we may need to add at least one.

Re: Cheaping out?
We're having a DJ instead of a band which has actually worked in our favor because we won a basic package from TWOTY, so DJ & MC is costing us about $500!!!

Re: Cheaping out?
Very possibly limos, centerpieces DIY and place cards/favors DIY. I am toying with whether or not to do videography. The only part I feel I would watch again is the actual ceremony.

Re: Cheaping out?
Going w/the cheapest Limo-
DIY invites; favors; tags; menu's
Will go with the cheapest photog package-
On the fence about the videographer. They just get in the way during the ceremony. I have a friend that is craazzzy about photos-i'm sure they can videotape the ceremony for us!
Cheapest florist-using in season flowers. Mixing candles/flower centerpieces to cut costs.
Wedding dress on a budget-seriously thinking about attending next years running of the brides-$250 for a designer dress...just can't beat it.
