my thoughts are this:

if i caught my FH cheating---i would be forced to castrate him and wear his balls around my neck on a chain.

oh and the wedding would be called off...i don't care how much $$ we lost. i'd rather lost thousands of dollars than lose my dignity.

We had this question in Pre-cana. Both of us agreed. If we were unfaithful before or after, makes no difference. Our marriage would not be salvagable.

Any relationship's foundation is trust. Once the foundation is destroyed, there's nothing left. I would leave b/c there would be no point in staying. Every time he left the house I'd be wondering what he was doing. I couldn't live like that.

Same here. Having been in a relationship where he cheated, I couldn't get out of it fast enough. Marriage with kids might slow down the process a little, only b/c it's a much tougher decision, but FH and I have discussed it and we both feel that if your going to cheat, then it's time to end the relationship b/c something is beyond wrong.

what kind of cheating? was it kissing? sex?
IF IT WERE a kiss and it was b4 the marriage- the marriage would be questionable
if it were sex b4 the marriage, i dont think there will be a marriage

if it were after, i dont know. i think we would need a divorce- b/c if he cheats once, he'll cheat multiple times.

I can't really say because unless you are actually IN that situation it is so hard to try and guesstimate how you would react. But I can say how I THINK I would react... I would leave FH/DH. For me, marriage is ALL about loyalty and trust. You are making a life-long commitment to that person so being with someone else is not even an option. I would never do that to Vinny and I know Vinny would never do that to me so if he did, I would feel like I didn't even know that person anymore-- therefore, I could not, in good faith, stay with him and try to work on something I feel is so broken that it cannot be fixed. It's hard though so I can't really say for sure-- no one can, until you are placed in that position.

this was very well stated .... it depends on MANY factors, but I know that FH would not tolerate chetaing at ALL and I am on the same page with him ... and like Britnny sd - I would think of what he was doing with someone else when me and him would be havong our intimate moments.

Same here. If I was married w/o kids divorce, if kids, I think I would try to work it out for the sake of the kids and as soon as they are off to college, divorce his sorr a$$

Well I told FH that should he ever cheat on me he would only embarss himself, as I did a voodoo spell on his pee she & he can try all he wants , he will just have limp d!ck..

I would absolutely call the wedding off or get a divorce and then take him for everything he's got. In my opinion, there is no excuse for cheating, even if it is supposedly a 'one time deal' We have already had this discussion and agree with each other.

I always tell him that I would rather him tell me like you annoy me or I dont like having sex with you or whatever the problem was so we could TRY to fix it first.

I know that if I cheated he would leave in a heartbeat - no second chances - done

If he cheated on me? It would depend on SO MANY things - I can't just say I would leave and end things. People don't usually cheat just to cheat. Then again I know that I would lose my mind if he did.
