Dj is booked! We went with Absolute. I was impressed with them from the first time I saw them at a showcase.

I am a little bit apprehensive about the cost to upgrade to a package that includes up lighting. Despite a discount, it is still going to cost $300 for the lights. Does anyone have any advice on this? $300 is a small price to pay if it wows everyone and really adds to it, but I'm not sure it will have that big of an effect. I would love to hear from anyone who knows better than I do! Thanks!

We're doing uplighting at Willow Creek and think it will add a bit but we're having a night wedding. Are you having a day or evening reception? I think $300 is a good price for it though.

Congrats! I'd go with the uplighting! 300 seems reasonable and if you think about the entire cost of the wedding you prob won't regret spending that extra 300!

I definitely found willow creek to be fair, they were accommodating with their minimum number limit and when we ventured into haggling they explained why things cost what they do and if we really needed it to drop what we could do (I.e. not a night, not a Saturday, not in July). Even though the price didn't drop, this showed me that there are reasons behind their pricing, they aren't trying to pull one over on anyone.
