We booked with Thomas Paul yesterday!!!
We only saw about 5 photographers after I narrowed my list down based on all your girls advice and suggestions- but we just felt that we clicked with him! He was so easy to work with and so accomodating! I'm so excited to book our E-Pix now!!!
On another front- I never posted about this, but we may have found a solution!

I contacted the church I grew up in back in December about getting marred there and was told they didn't have their 2011 calendar yet so to call back in Feb/March. I called back, after getting the run around and talking to like 4 people, someone finally took all my info and told me I was in the book for my date/time. I got a call from the Deacon the following week to arrange a time to meet and go over the process- we live OOT and he was in FL until the middle of May, so we decided on a time in July.
Fastforward to middle of May, the Deacon e-mails me and is like, so what's the deal? and asks me a ton of questions and ends with, ya know we're working on a tight time frame here and need to get moving, blah blah blah. I'm slightly confused as my wedding isn't until October 2011, so I e-mail him back and he's like oh someone wrote the wrong info down, sry about that. He checks the book and, THEY HAD BOOKED ANOTHER COUPLE IN MY DATE/TIME SLOT!!!!!
My parents were furious as we have been members for 24 years, and my parents were responsible for all the fundraising (over $6 million dollars!!!!!) that was done in order to build a new parish center and do all the renovations they just began. My dad met with the pastor and was told that obviously there was a miscommunication on MY end and I misunderstood them, AND because they never had a check from me they never would have held the date for me anyway, and basically that I'm crazy and making sh*t up!!!!
They offered me a 1pm slot, but then that means my guests have nothing to do for like 4.5 hrs until cocktail hour starts, and he's like, I don't see the problem with that- have a small pre-party at another location!!! WFT?!?!?! I barely have the money to cover the wedding, FORGET a PRE-PARTY!!!!!!
ANYWAY, so we went to another church yesterday and spoke with the priest who was SOOO accomodating about everything and even thought we aren't members there we are more than welcome to get married there, have a guest priest say the mass, everything! We're calling Monday to book it!!!
So after a stressful week, perhaps everything worked out for the best!
