what's going on where you are now?



the winds have really started to pick up, and the rain has seemed to come to a halt for now here in n. babylon

my parents just called and said they already lost power in east islip

Oy vey, that stinks! I really hope it doesn't get worst than a power outage for a few hours. Even that's bad for a lot of people

Im in Farmingville, close to Ronkonkoma and its barely raining here... I think the wind is picking up a little. We will see in a couple of hours!

Out in manorville, slight rain, wind is a little gustier than normal but nothing crazy. Just ate BBQ pulled chicken that has been cooking in the crock pot.... DH LOVES me right now! Lol chicken Marsala w egg noodles for lunch and pulled chicken for dinner....and I bought devil dogs for him :)....

I had a minor meltdown before bc I felt like I wanted my mom! I spoke to her and feel better now....lol

Sorry for the long post.....I'm so bored!

Wow Melissa - you get the wife award for today!!! LoL. I cooked like 2 meals so far today also.

My plan is to clean all the closets...Fun lol

we're in South Bellport and it's just lightly raining, not really windy, I hope it really stays that way!

Made corn on the cob, sweet potato fries, and steak for dinner! Also polished off a bottle of wine

DH's parents lost power outside of DC already

all this food is making me hungry again

on our way home, which was like 1 hr ago, we passed by Friendly's (lucky us we were their last customers) and picked up yummy ice cream, not such a great idea when I have my 1st fitting next Friday and we might not have electricity to store it

We are having fun using shower gifts

Tonight we used....

Wine glasses, Rabbit corkscrew, china serving plates, grill pan, decanter, and new knives
