I am so happy all the dresses will be done and be measured by tomorrow, and I am ordering my veil tomorrow also. We ordered the groomsmen gifts yesterday- beer mugs with there initials on them and we are going to put a gift certificate to The Outback in them, the ring bearer is getting a smaller child size mug with his name on it filled with crayons, and his mom and dad will get more money for there gift certifcate so they can all go out to dinner, and we also ordered our invitations!!!! Now it is starting to seem real! I am so excited only 263 days to go!The only thing left I have to do is to get my crinlion, pick out tuxs, get the address list ready for the calligrapher, and go for fittings. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

The new things are: Registered Went for makeup trail Booked makeup artist Meet with Priest to start the process (will do pre-cana in Dec) Finished buying gifts for parents, grandmother, etc.

Booked hall, church, dj, photographer, honeymoon...no flowers yet, or limos Ordered dress, taking BM's in August for theirs Picked tuxes Got cake topper, BM's jewelry, gifts, GM's gifts, cake set, veil, shoes, other stuff that i can't remember Started on favors Registered Blocked hotel rooms got my mom's gift. I don't know what else. we still have soooooooooo much to do!!!!

Still to do in the near future: Make appt. for E-pics, book limos, block hotel rooms, find a hair stylist, find live cocktail music, order mass amounts of pillar candles for the reception, sign up for Pre-Cana, pick out and order BM dresses, set-up rehearsal dinner.
To do next year: Shoes, veil, favors, invites, programs, BP gifts.....and a alot more that I can't even think of right now!

It was my third day out shopping.I brought my best friend and my mom. I don't want to post a pic, I am afraid of a snooping fiance!
It is just what I wanted, well, one of the types I wanted, anyway. I got it at Bridal Salon of Manhasset. They have beautiful dresses there. It was the first dress I tried on there. I loved it right away, but knew to try on more. I couldn't wait to put it back on. It came down to two for that store, but when I decided on that dress as the one for me, I didn't want to take it off! I loved seeing myself in the dress. It is very elegant and has clean lines. I am a designer, I am basically a minimalist when it comes to form. This dress has a great shape to it. Ball gown, with out me feeling like a princess poof! But still being the bride.
I love it! They pulled this thing with me there, saying that if I bought it that day, they would take $ off. That did sway me a little, but I loved it, so we ordered it after lunch. I bought the perfect veil there too.

the only big thing we have left to book is the Florist. then its on to BM dress shopping, invitations, other accessory buying. And i may block hotels this week. Oh and Honeymoon! and i'm STILL working on the favors! (i think i'll finish them just before the wedding)

I have my dress, the color for the BM and my MOH has her dress picked out. We have the hall, the DJ (who is truly amazing!!), and I think that's it. Should I have more done??? I think we have our invite picked out.....ACK!! I feel like I have nothing done.....anyone feel like helping me with my vendor timeline???

Lately I have ordered my streamers, not doing bubbles I want to be a little different, Ive started to look at ceremonies, I want to write ours. Ive contacted the March of Dimes about making donation favors but no one called me back!

We have the church and hall, just waiting to get the contract from the photographer, we've got bands down to two choices, dress shopping last week and this week. My sister (MOH) coming in in a few weeks to look at dresses. I think we've chosen an invitation, but we may want to look a bit more. FI is designing the STDs, and he's almost done.
After band, dresses, and invites are wrapped up: Florists, limos, and hotels for otg
PS - Btrfly we are getting married on the same day, and I would say we've got about the same amount done, so don't stress too much!

we're having problems figuring out what to throw... FH doesn't like the bubbles. And i don't know what we're allowed to do at the hall. We have to go there Friday so maybe we can ask them then. I don't care if we don't throw anything

I'm new to this site...I just registered tonight! I've been reading some of these posts and I'm getting VERY nervous as my FI & I haven't even picked a hall. I haven't started dress shopping yet and the only decision you've made so far is that we both want a DJ. My FI has been a great help so far (doing on-line research, went looking at 8 halls so far, etc). What stage of planning are you girls up to? Is there hope for me still?

Ok, I don’t feel as foolish anymore. I have 14ish months to go and I have done the following:
Booked the hall FOUND the dress (will hold off on ordering for a bit)
that’s about it.. for done
Working on: Finding a florist in the next month DJ too
