Check On!
After giving my brain a wedding break for a while, I've finally got another check in. And this week I will (hopefully) be adding many more!
Yesterday after work FH and I went to our Jewelers to look again for bands. We know there is no rush, but since it's something we can take care of now, we wanted to get a head start. Well, the fist time I went FH was really pushing for a ring that was at the limit of our budget, And I know its my 'lifetime ring' and FH kept stressing how I deserve the ring, and how he wanted me to get the big one, and I even posted pics on here wondering if It was 'the one' but it never sat easy in my brain. So when we went back yesterday, and FH again was pushing 'the big one' I stuck to my gun and tried on a more delicate band. BAM in love. Not only does it perfectly match the band on my E-Ring, but it's just enough to compliment it, and not too much. I love it. It looks sophisticated and beautiful. After much deliberation with FH I got him to understand I wasn't picking this ring because it was half the price of the other (although that helps of course) I was picking it because it was what I wanted.

Best of all because we stayed sooo under budget it opened FH up to many more ring options for HIM. Something he never thought about because he kept pushing me to get a big ring, he settled on a plain one in his mind and didn't give himself the chance to think of other options. Well, with me picking the less expensive band, it way my chance to 'push' and let FH know that HE deserved his dream ring too. Here is the one he picked which is very masculine and fancy (fancy for him since he doesn't wear any jewelry now lol) best of all it will be FHs first diamond and I think it's adorable that I can 'give' him a diamond like he gave me mine!
