I did it!

Went to a local jeweler in the commack jewelry exchange, and was VERY happy with him---

My ring was measuring a 6.5 to start, and I needed it smaller, because it slips a little when wet, and it spins alllll day.

Didn't want to officially resize ring yet, in case I get fat w/ baby down the road, so he installed the little sizer balls (shots).

It took 15 minutes, and it was $10, and soooo worth it! Ring now measures JUST under 6.25, fits perfectly, and doesn't spin at ALL!

Quick and painless process.

Very nice! My ring doesn't slip too much...I'm actually concerned that it may not fit with 'Baby fat'. Actually, believe it or not...when FH bought my ring, he didn't know what size I was! He just went and picked out the one he liked (From Tiffany, Sasha! ) and boy, was he lucky that it fit!

Arent they great?
I had my ring sized twice and it was still big so someone suggested the balls.
I had them done and its a perfect size of 4 1/4.
I didnt want to resize it again since the shank was already thin from it.

Awesome! Which vendor was it? Do they have separate booths? Looking in the window of that place gives me flashbacks to the Commack flea market days, so I've actually never step foot inside!

Yea those balls are handy .

My Jeweler is there as well.. They just redid my ring.. cause one of the prongs were off. They took the whole thing apart and cleaned every diamond.. it looks amazing.

we've purchased things from him before - reasonably priced, but not as good as NYC.

eta: you don't have to leave your ring at ALL!!! It takes 10 minutes, and it's in your sight at ALL TIMES.

and thanks everyone, for the compliments. My FH designed the setting by combining 2 other settings. I liked the Tacori style, but it just wasn't in our budget! You can't tell from the pic, but there are 3 little side stones (round) on each side of the main (princess) diamond. He did a GREAT job, and I love love love it.
