sooooooo we're doing everything beach themed, and our cake is going to have shells on it, be mostly white but have a touch of light blue and light brown....well for cake topper, i had a couple in mind that were PERFECT....well, both of them are discontinued, and i searched everywhere but cant find the same ones....
so i veered off from the beach theme, cuz i saw something football related that caught my eye...FH and i are HUGH football fans, during football season, football sundays are our LIFE! and our teams are not just casual affinities, they are like religions!!! But I'm a dolphins fan and FH is a giants fan....and in the beginning of the relationship he always joked that he'd turn me to the giants...NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!! LOL sooooo we both decided WHAT THE HECK its OUR cake, OUR day, we can pick something a little different and football means so much to us, why not?? so this is what I found!! The helmets will of course be Miami Dolphins and New York Giants, though! my mom (whos also a huge dolphins fan) who i THOUGHT would think it not appropriate, said she thinks its hysterical and totally us and supports us getting it! so its a done deal!! I LOVE IT

SOOOO CUTE I LOVE IT!!! FH and I are doing something similar but with characters of us in a Mets jersey and Yankees jersey! I LOVE adding the little touches that the guys will appreciate as much as we will

im not doing a grooms cake, if i am, its gonna be a last minute, i dont have a lot of extra money, and FH hates cake anyway LOL
its really for me just as much as its for him tho...ask anyone on here whos met me, especially after the last G2G.....football is totally my thing!
i think its going to be a fun personal touch of BOTH of us at the reception....everything else is mostly me....crystals for the CPs, the invitations that I designed, the cake that we did together but all mostly based on my ideas, etc etc...so this is something that really is both of US and i feel that its so important to try to incorporate elements like that into the wedding...after all that's what we're celebrating!! the things that make me and FH partners for life!!
i appreciate your input tho! i was initially concerned about how others would receive the topper, but once my mom (whos traditional) said she loves it, i was OK with it too!
