Checking out a DJ at 3

This is the first vendor I'm checking out. Do you girls think that maybe I should focus on photography first? What was the first vendor you booked?

Check out whatever you want first girly!! There's no specific order you have to do things in!!

I think they are harder to come by that's why I went to them 1st! If she's booked for your date then it's written in the stars for you to have another photog!!

I booked the DJ first because you want good music at your wedding. Then I did photographer.

Yeah... definitely.
You know, it really scared me into realizing that we MUST start looking at vendors!! Our weddings are not that far away!!

I know it is. I thought I had so much time until I realized my wedding is getting to the one year mark.

I would do photography first because they are the vendor that books up or has certain abilities and availabilities. BUT visit dj's and take your time. I visited two dj's and hated both of them and then it was like a duh moment when i saw the dj we have seen for four years running at fh's xmass party and met with him and it was perfect!!!

Its going to be here before we know it. All the planning makes it go fast. All the things you have to do to get ready. I am so excited. It does get frusturating though sometimes..lol

My cousin just got engaged and his fiance has everything done!!! FH and I have been engaged and done ca ca!!! I was like, oh no bother... I can do it all after the eparty! Now I'm like, I gotta get moving !

I booked my band first because I knew what band I absolutely wanted to have at my wedding and I didn't want to chance them being booked! I think whatever vendor you definately want... whether it's a DJ or photo... you should just book as soon as you know!

im not much help i booked all my vendors (except dj) at the same time at the same place.

good luck tho i dont think there is any certain ORDER you have to go with.

I think it is fine...Go look at the DJ today, listen they get booked up quickly too and music is an extremely important part of the wedding...It can actually set the mood for the party...And just book appointments for photographers real soon, you can get that done right away too. Good luck

im gonna check them out with FH. i dunno who else has used them but the work they do is fantastic (i feel)

i havent done anything so id say whateva you go for first is good!
