I came up to LI for the weekend and met up with FH (who drove down Friday night after an exam).

1. Put together the STDs, stamped them, and sent them out!
2. Chose wedding bands. Eeek! Fantastic prices and if I can ever recommend a jeweler that is amazing and will do anything to make you happy (such as coming in on Sunday morning to re-review the rings), that is Ray at T*udor Jeweler's in Northport. I love him- he did my engagement ring and gave us rockin bands for a rockin price (white gold with micropave diamonds for me, palladium striped band for FH under $1000 total)
3. Did a hair and makeup trial. I feel confident in my hair with Kacey at Khouloud's, and love how the makeup looks- but am getting worried about how much eye makeup tends to run on me.
4. Booked our Rehearsal Dinner location, complete with a gluten-free menu for the Friday evening before.
5. Got my proofs from 'her'! Approved and waiting for paperwork.
After a 5 hours bus ride back to DC (we got side swiped on the way, and had to switch buses), I am pooped!
