Question - how did you go about getting everyone's addresses? I know a bunch of the ones from my guests, but some I just don't have. Is there a specific way to ask people?

I had my mom get our family's addresses, my MIL got DH's family's addresses, and Dh and I got our friends'. We pretty much sent an email (or text, depending on the person) saying 'hey, can i get your address please .... there's something special i want to invite you too '

I don't know if there is a specific or right way to ask.I didn't ask people a specific way I just called, texted, emailed and facebook messaged people who I didn't have. I put my mom and FH mom in charge of their own guest lists if they wanted them to come they had to get me an address
