CHECKKKKKK!!!! Woohoo!

I signed the contract for my hotel block!!! We blocked off rooms at the Hyatt Regency Long Island in Hauppauge!!! It's a GORGEOUS hotel and I'm soooo excited!!! We also booked a suite for our wedding night at the same hotel!!

You used that hotelplanner.com site right? I have to look into that! did you go to the hotel before you booked to see the rooms and suites?

Yes! I used hotelplanner.com and negotiated through that site as well (you can reject bids and ask for a new one from the hotels you are interested in). Once you are interested in the hotel or if you have more questions, you fill out a 'Contact Hotel' form and then hotelplanner.com gives you the hotel's contact information. Since then I have been in touch with the hotel sales manager and just finalized everything today. I did visit the hotel to see a sample king and double bedroom. I wasn't able to view a suite because they were all occupied when I visited. I'm actually happy that I didn't see it because I kind of want to be surprised when I see the room on my wedding night. I have seen the suites on their website and they look beautiful, so I don't really feel the need to see them in person..again I think I would rather be surprised. It's a great site that can help you get a great rate!! I actually visited 5 hotels total and 4 of them were from going through hotelplanner.com. FM me if you have any questions!
