Checks!

I've been MIA for the past few days, but we did cake tasting and shoes! Menu selection is today!!!!

For the cake, the house baker is Macayla Michaels. His bakery is WONDERFUL. We are going with a simple buttercream cake, with marble cake and dark chocolate mousse. It was so yummy!

I also went to Craft Shoes in Commack yesterday (they had a $10 off coupon!), and purchased these:

I can now dye them either champagne, or kelly green when I make my final decision once my dress comes in. They lady there made a point- my dress is all lace, and the shoes with bling might snag on the lace. So I went with really simple ones!

Excited for the menu selecting later today!

And will I see some of you at the G2G (Huntington)?

They are so cute!!! And you are right about the shoes. I went for really simple ones too because I was so afraid that blingy shoes would snag the tulle and lace on my dress. It's the one simple thing I am wearing that day.

BTW -- how is all going with your sister?

She hasn't spoken to me in days! I definitely think she has something else going on...as my dad said to me this morning, 'Ali, you are about 85% right in all of this.' Which I am....I just incite her sometimes after she acts like a brat!

And if I have to replace her, it would be with my bestie- who is a gay man. My mom said that she wouldn't attend the wedding if I did that. Sigh

this is the same with me! I want amazing shoes since I am a bit of a shoe w hore but my dress is tulle and I don't want to snag..ive been going crazy looking for shoes!
