Checks!!!

Exactly 4 months away and I feel like I got a lot done today.
- My mother finally found her dress today. We have been looking on and off for a few months. My mother is so picky she was not able to find anything she really liked/ loved. Today we went back on the hunt. We planned on going to Totally You on Bellmore, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom. We went to Totally You first. When I told them my wedding was in 4 months they weren't sure if we had enough time to order a dress. But they said we could order a dress and it would come in time. I was so happy she said yes to the dress because we were definitely running out of time. They were very helpful. If anyone is looking for a MOB/MOG dress I definitely recommend them. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other stores we went to before. So we never made it to Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.

- I purchased my DOJ from Totally You as well. I love it. Picture in my Day of Accessories album.

- I finished blinging all the frames for the tables numbers.

- I purchased the supplies to begin working on my cardbox and monogram cake topper.

- I finalized and ordered my invitations yesterday. I should receive them by the first week of February.

So happy that I'm getting things done!

Congrats on your checks, but you are scaring me. My wedding is 5 days after yours and I haven't started invitations (we do have the wording).

I know how bad I am with mailing things out so by having them early I'll make sure I mail them out at a reasonable time. I'm hoping to have everything mailed out early (before the end of February). So that I get them before I have to give my final count to our venue.
