So we had a few checks this weekend. FH and I picked out wedding bands. I purchased his and bought them home Sat. FH placed the order for mine which is being custom to match my ring.
My mom got her mother of the bride dress on Sunday. Very nice and nice color. So now my dad can get his tux rental.
We finished our design for our rehearsal dinner invites. They came out so cool.
Our card box is done we just might want to add a little more decoration to like our date or something. I will post pictures soon.
We finally got a frame on sale at AC Moore Friday to put our guest book poster in.
Wine box for ceremony is painted now we just need to decorate and write each other letters.
I wanted to get my veil and hair clip done this weekend too but when we went to tricounty the veils at Barron's were more expensive than I really wanted to spend same with the clips. I just can justify $160 for a veil I'm going to wear for maybe and hour or two at most. And a hair clip I am only going to wear once. So hunting the internet or possibly making my own veil is what will now most likely happen.

Awesome checks!! And I couldn't agree more about the veil/hair clip. Which is why I decided not to wear a veil and the headpiece I'm wearing will by my 'something borrowed' from a friend of mine. She's insane and paid about $500 for hers, so I'll help her get her money's worth, lol.

That's awesome see I am borrowing my sister's wedding shoe's she paid something insane like 900 for these very bridal but gorgeous Italian designer wedding shoes. So I'm borrowing those. Unfortunately all my friend's who are married already the all wore lace dresses and had lace trimmed veils my dress is satin with beading and rhinestones so they just don't go. Trust me if one of my friends had a veil that remotely went I would be hitting them up to borrow it lol. Proves my point further about anything wedding related is legal robbery lol.

Congrats on the checks. I agree with you on the outrageous veil prices. Etsy has ones for around $50 I've been looking through then and I'll mist likely get one of those.

Everything looks great!!! If there was a LIW award for most creatively executed theme, you would definitely be a front runner. I read somewhere about a site aliexpress.com for veils. After checking it out, I wish I would have known when I was looking for veils. Looks like it's worth a try. Congrats on the checks.

Awww thank you! I love themes and party planning so this is all right up my alley. I think I saw that site when browsing online for veils. I'm just still slightly nervous about ordering veils online especially since you really don't know what you're going to get and a lot if not all have a no return. I'm going to look at that site more tonight. Thanks!

Congrats on all the checks. You really have done amazing job with your theme! For the veil, I also thought Barrons was ridiculous with price and I never found one I loved. There is another small booth at Tri-County, S&S I think was the name, they ended up having EXACTLY what I wanted for a very reasonable price...less thatn $100! I picked it up last weekend and it was beautiful!
