Checks and pics

In the past two weeks FH and I have gotten some major checks in! We did our cake tasting and picked our menu. I put in our order at snowflake in riverhead for the ice cream for our ice cream sundae bar. I finally finished painting the frames we are using for table numbers and various signs. I bought the boxes to make my DIY card box. I had my hair and makeup trial with Nadine Vasquez and booked her for the wedding. My biggest check (and probably one of the least important in the grand scheme of things), I finally finished my DIY ribbon pomanders that will decorate the ceremony. I came up with this idea early on and as I started working on them I decided it was a mistake. They were time consuming and expensive and people will only look at them for maybe 20 minutes, but I have never felt so accomplished!

Thanks guys! I wish I had given pomander duty to someone else but I thought it would be a fun project, boy was I wrong! Hahaha

Ooooh I love Snowflake. We got some Peconic Swamp Thing the other night!

Congrats on all your checks!!

My mom wanted me to get peconic swamp thing but I told her no because I never order that. I picked birthday cake (which I will rename wedding cake on the menu) and peanut butter cup because they are my two faves!
