Major checks this weekend! I got my DOJ from Hautebride
ANNDDD I got my veil and headpiece! THis is the best part. I had heard of bridal garden in NYC which is a non profit boutique that sells designer dresses (mostly donated from designers and some from brides) and accessories. ALl their proceeds go to new york city kids and schools.
Anyway, I'd always loved the idea of giving money to a good cause instead of another wedding business so I made an appointment with my friend last friday not really expecting anything. I had heard that their selection is SUPER limited and you really just luck out or you dont...
that being said, I LUCKED OUT!!! I got a Vera Wang single tier cathedral veil and a headpiece for well below my budget and I am sooo happy even a bit of my money went to a good cause. I can pick my veil up this friday and I can't wait to try it on with my gown and jewelry
so...check, check, check and check

yeah, that's what I hear! My expectations were actually very low because there are such mixed reviews but I figured it was worth a shot and I'm glad it paid off I kept singng to FH this weekend - I got a Vera Veilll, I got a vera veil.
At first he thought it was cute then it was just 'okay, enough already'
