Cheese .. or No Cheese????

Cheese .. or No Cheese????

After reading a magazine the other day .. I am very confused as to whether cheese is good or not.

In one place .. they said a specific amount of cheese was a good in-between snack .. to keep you satisfied .. but then I read somewhere else in the magazine that cheese is bad .. so now I'm confused .. is cheese a good in-between snack, or not???? Does it depend on which exact type of cheese it is??? How can one place in a magazine tell you to eat cheese .. then another place in the same magazine make it as though you shouldn't even look at cheese.

What diet are you on? If you are on Atkins, I know that you can only eat 3 to 4 ounces of cheese a day.

Well, if it's processed cheese filled with preservatives, I'd stay away from that. I'm sure things like string cheese and cheese singles are processed, but I can't tell you for sure. The only reason why I say that I think they're processed is because they're molded into a certain shape and seem to last forever!
Whereas fresh, natural cheese is in it's natural form and doesn't last in the fridge very long.
So cheeses like crumbled feta on a salad are good, gorgonzola, cheeses that you see that are cut from a wheel, etc are good cheeses.
But remember that cheese has a good deal of fat so don't go overboard.
