we're trying to make reservations at cheesecake factory for tomorrow night for my brother's bday ... it's the one thing he asked for (dinner & cheesecake from there). unfortunately, they don't take reservations after 5 or 6pm and the earliest we can go is 8pm ....
i'm upset
why the ef won't they take reservations?!?!?!?!

They might do 'call ahead' give a call around 2 in the afternoon and give them an idea of how many are coming... then I would suggest sending someone there about 1-2 hours before you are all meeting up to put the name in.

this is why i hate going to the cheesecake factory. it's like, no matter when you go or what you do, the wait is ridiculous. it's too bad the cheesecake is soooo delicious..

hmm - good idea about the call ahead ... i'll cross my fingers & call tomorrow thanks for the idea.
i TOTALLY agree about hating the wait .... that's why i go there on very rare occasions. thank God i'm already married and no longer on the wedding diet cause their cheesecake is so freakin' bad for you, i'd gain a thousand pounds off one slice

That's why I don't go there. The wait is always insanely long and their food is not even that good.

I'm assuming Grande Luxe may be the same but it's worth calling to see. It's right near Cheesecake and has the same owner...so the cheesecake they serve there is exactly the same as at Cheesecake and the food is similar as well (different selection...but that same Cheesecake taste). They do have a smaller dessert selection though. Sorry.

we went for our combined birthday dinner on a friday. They put us in the computer so that they could plan for our table but we still got there like 20 minutes earlier than our 'scheduled time' to put our name on the list! We had a party of 12! Good luck!

on a typical friday & sat night the wait is between an hour & a half and 2 hours.... I've been told even longer.
