Just checked with my father about the price and yep, $500 is right.

Now, I know he better be coming out of his pocket with some money for my wedding! SMH, my brother and sister get everything...i am like the ugly duckling of the family..lol

im a huge met fan as well as FH, i think it would be a cute idea! i believe some bride on here in 08 has hired mr. met too for her wedding.. but i prob wouldnt be able to afford the extra cost

I think its completely up to you! If you dont want to spend all that money you can always incorporate FH's love of the mets in the diff. way- for example a mets groom's cake or a mets garter.
