Chef*World*Inc-free weekend? Not at all!

Hello Brides,
I just wanted to let you know what it was all about.
I received a phone call from this company, telling me I won a free weekend, coupon books, and 30-50% off their products.
After sitting through the one and a half hour presentation, my fiance and I decided that 2k for an 8 piece cookware set was just out of our budget. We let the presenter know this and she got REAL nasty. She called us sheltered and got real snippy.
The coupon book needs to be sent away for but there is no indication who to make the $5 shipping fee out to.
The percentage off of their products made their eight piece set 1200, still too much! Sorry!
AND, the free weekend isn't free. It is limited to Sunday-Wednesday travel, no holidays, and you need to put down $100.
The only nice part of this ordeal was the girl who I spoke with on the phone. She was cordial and made the effort to work with you.
I hope some of you brides had a better experience than I did with this company!

Since we've had the SAME experience at a timeshare presentation in Orlando, we knew not to waste our time. Same thing though- the woman went from sweetheart to raging biatch in .5 seconds!

I recieved the same call...

She didn't shup the EF up on the phone. I kept trying to get off after making the appointment to meet with her and finally I was rude... told her 'Look as I said, I'm at work and gtg.... bye' and basically hung up on her. I had no intention of ever going to that meeting. It was certainly a scam

i went to the same thing and it was such a waste and the presenter was extremely rude to us at the end. After I told her that we weren't going to buy anything because we didn't want to spend that much, she told us we should wait to get married until we are financially stable otherwise it will probably end in divorce.

She was rude, the whole thing was a waste-- If anyone gets this call don't waste your time.
