You should try out Fischer & Page in the city. They are a wholesaler that ALL the florists use for branches. That is their specialty. You would have to DIY though, they are not a florist.

are you looking for just the cherry branches? will they have blossoms? or another flower included?
we are having cherry blosson branches with orchids and we were quoted about 150 pp for high cps. They are in 3.5 ft. pilsner glasses that guests will take home at the end of the night.

Thanks so much for the input. Fisher quoted me $85 per bale. Each bale is 6-8 branches..Do you think it's worth it to do it on your own before the wedding? I would still have to buy vases. I'm making a total of 20 centerpieces. Also I was told the bale was 5 feet tall!
Grr..I'm dying to do DIY, but not sure if it's worth it.

i think you will def. need a lot of help w/ the DIY CPs....i was initially interested in cherry blossoms and was told that the florist will bring the branches in sep. and create each CP individually at the reception hall. (it might be hard to transport if you make it in advance)...if this is the case..you don't want to be making cps w/ your gown on..do you have people who can do this for you?

My FSIL and FBIL had cherry blossoms for their centerpieces too. They actually ended up using fake ones, but they looked so real and were done so beautifully in a glass square vase filled with moss and something else. And the best part is that they were able to take them home and they now have two arranged in their dining room. She even had little butterflies placed on some of the branches. It came out very nice.

that would be great!!! thanks all for your input. i think if i don't have a florist do it, i may have to give up on the idea or maybe just have one cherry blossom arrangement in the foyer. i know it's going to be a lot of work transporting, etc..buying the vase....

I am doing this as an entracnce piece(place card table). I have been quoted from 150-195, this is for cherry blossom w/ hanging votive candles.

I think Cherry blossom branches compliment CP's very nicely. They are very beautiful, and I think I may add them to mine. A bride on here recently posted her sample cp with cherry blossoms and they looked absolutely stunning!!!

I was originally going to do Cherry Blossom centerpieces but ultimately decided on something else. I was quoted 175 for a high centerpiece with hydrangeas around the rim of the vase, cherry blossoms, curly willows and hanging candles. I have a friend who was a BM in a wedding where they did a lot of DIY decorations with the cherry blossoms and it turned out to be a big pain and a lot of last minute scrambling, so I'm not sure if you want to deal with that unless you have a planner or DOC who will agree to handle it for you.

I havent had a quote myself but another bride on here mentioned that they were about $25 per branch.

I'm doing high CP with Cherry Blossoms and the vase filled with assorted fruits and its about $95....i wouldn't DIY...its just one more thing you're going to have to worry about....

We didn't end up having them done, but we were also quoted $150-$175 for the cherry blossoms in pilsners at various places.

Wow $95!! that's awesome. I would definitely call them. However I'm in a pickle, cuz my RH ONLY allows the 2 recommended florists to step foot into their premise *SIGH*. so stressful on me because I feel so forced to have to use either of them and one of them S&P already quoted me an obscene amount!!!

Whoa, that sounds strange. If an RH forces you to work with certain vendors, and if something goes wrong, the RH opens itself up to liability. It seems strange that an RH would risk that. Is there common ownership between the RH and the florist (not just a recommendation fee arrangement)?
Most RHs will allow non-approved vendors, but those vendors must submit a liability insurance certificate for the RH's review and approval for each occasion the vendor works there. All reputable vendors should have this in place.

Yeah it is very annoying. I don't know anyone who booked at the RH and fought the system. My understanding is that the florists and the RH are partners...which is why there is exclusivity. It makes me want to just do my own flowers.
Does anyone know a good store/website that sells realistic Cherry Blossom branches with flowers? Just curious...I could check it and and see how it looks and if I have time I can DIY it. Diy'ing REAL blossoms is too much for me to handle....

hey there stranger. I have 2 specific florists i have to use as well. My friend is having a cherry blossom theme - she got quoted $150 per centerpiece and people cant even take the vase home. Bc the branches were so tall, they had to use the larger vase which i guess had to be rented out....
