Chicas who already went dress shopping

It will be my first time on Saturday and I was wondering how it goes..

Do you just show them the pics and they bring you what is in the pics or dresses that are similar to the pics...

are you allowed to browse through racks..???

I knew I wanted an Eve Of Milady dress so I made an appt. at a bridal store during an EOM Trunk show. I browsed through all the EOM dresses and picked out about 7 that I liked. I tried them ALL on.

you get to brose through the racks and pick out the dresses you would like to try on. Have fun and take lots of pics!!

they actually brought me dresses. I showed them pics of dresses that i was interested in & styles & they brought them out. Then i decided that i wanted a certain rpice range & went from there. I found my ress in 1 day atthe second place i went to. I LOVE IT! HAVE A BLAST

I had pictures of dresses that I wanted and showed them, but they didn't have all the dresses that I wanted to see. So they showed my dresses in the style I was looking for. U can browse through the racks but i can't stand doing that b/c the dresses are so heavy and smushed together, its hard to look

If you have a particular designer then you make an appt with a salon that carries their line of gowns.

Also, I knew that I wanted the ballgown look. So, it help narrow down the search.

i told the girl what i liked and she brought me some dresses in that style but i also browsed the racks.

I told the lady what I want and they showed me a bunch, but I randomly picked out my dress off a rack and said hrm I want to try on this one too. That was the first place I went and the first dress I 'picked' up. I went to a bunch of other stores just to make sure, but nothing else compared. I didn't think it would be so obvious! Good luck!

Bring in pictures of ones you like, tell them your price range and discuss the type of dress you would like. But I would advise you to try on lots of different styles and silhouttes b/c sometimes what you think you will like you don't and you end up loving something completely different. So be open minded. Its good to browse through the racks but they are heavy to carry and hard to see (especially stores that have them in the plastic bags). Once you find the style you liek ask her to bring you out others like that in your price range.

hey there
Just tried on first time at RK Bridal in city yesterday after work (solo)
Just had to sign up, browse racks and select dresses to try on. Once called, you go in to try. Think max is about 7 but since it wasnt busy and I had a few that looked bad on woman allowed me to go back and get a few more.

Couldnt take pics (maybe if someone was with me could have since woman wasn't with me most of time. Felt almost as if I was trying on alone, not much help on her end.)

Anyone suggest anywhere else to go (where they will let me take pics?)
Also how many they usually let you try on.

you can definitely browse through the racks as well as show them pics of styles you are looking for....... i did both cause i wanted to see all my options before making a decision!
i got mine @ Bridal Reflections....... they are VERY helpful.

i went to david's bridal and they had me go through their magazine and she got all of my dresses. I went to fantasia bridal and i went through the racks and picked out all the of the dresses i liked! you will have so much fun!

Depends on where you go ... I went to Kleinfelds and they bring the dresses for you although you should bring some pics that you like but be open to trying everything on. You can try on as many as you want there.

My sis went to Davids bridal and you can look through the racks but sometimes when they are busy they put a limit on how many dresses you can try on (3-5).

I was lucky I brought in a picture of the dress I wanted to try on, the lady brought it out to me and asked if I wanted similar dresses to try on also. I said no thank you put on the dress and fell in love. My mother made me try on one other dress just to be sure. I was sure, and bought it then and there. One place two dresses and was done.

I was able to browse the racks. I had an idea of what I wanted so I told the lady what I liked and disliked and she helped me pick a few out. It was definitely better having her pick some because the dress that I ended up ordering I never would've taken it off the rack. Good luck and have fun!

I had a few dresses in mind that I knew I wanted to try on so I purposely found a store that I called ahead to make sure they had a sample.

They let me browse through and pick out any I wanted to try on though and then she brought a couple out for me as well.

If you see pictures of dresses that you like, then i would def bring them in when you go.You can look through the dresses as well.

I went to Bridal Reflections. They asked what kind of dresses I liked at they brought it what I was looking for. Definately go with an open mind though! Because I ended up falling in love with something that I never would have tried on in the first place and getting it!
