We had to say yes....we couldn't just say yes to our immediate family, such as nieces, nephews and first cousins....sand we couldn't say no to nieces, nephews, etc......soooo we said yes to all...let's keep our fingers crossed that not that many come!!!! Atleast they are half price anyway!!!!

We said no because we wanted an adult only event. Luckily we don't have any really young nephews or nieces or young family so it wasn't a big ordeal. It really depend on each situation.

No...because I want it to be an adult only affair. I love kids but I feel like they would change the atmosphere of the wedding. The only kids will be bridal party and my first cousins.

Yes.

Most of my family consists of children (from 3-21 but i guess they aren't children huh lol) and it would be sooo weird to be at a family event without them there.

We're allowing children because besides two 1-year-olds (who probably won't even come b/c these people are out-of-towners) the youngest kid will be around 7 or 8 years old. Plus, we're struggling to meet our minimum and we feel that if the family is allowed to bring their kids, they'd be more likely to attend b/c they don't have to find childcare that night.

I think it would be cute too to see little kids dancing on the dance floor, too.They keep things fun

We're having kids-there aren't that many so we don't think it's that big of a deal

Yes, FH's family has a lot of children. I have no problem with having children at the reception, but I understand why other brides would like 'adult only' receptions.

no i wanted adult only event. and soooo glad we did it that way. one i wanted to stay inb udget and two there were so many people dancing and having a good time, i didnt need 20-30 kids running around the dancefloor too.

No because I'm on a budget. I have maybe 9 kids at the wedding including my daughter. Adult Only reception will be written on my invites.

No. The only children FH and I would have at our wedding would be our nieces or nephews and since we don't have any, it was easy! Even our cousins are all adults. Some of my cousins have younger children but we drew the invite line after first cousins.

Yes- I am having my cousins and a couple kids from FH's side.... they are my immediate family, I want them there and I think they are going to have an awesome time, their so excited!

the only kids at our reception will be my 1st cousins - they are 10 and 13, and they are both in the bridal party.

FH's cousins are all older than he is and they have kids, but we had to draw the line somewhere, so those kids aren't invited.

i would prefer an adult only affair because my family can get crazy

We invited children because I see my family on a semi-regular basis and it wasn't worth the drama.

No. The kids in the bridal party are going home after the ceremony and all pictures are over.

I wanted an adults only wedding and we are tight on space so having a table of children would mean we couldn't invite other people.

yes i think we are going to invite them... i can't not invite my cousins... there are not many who are really young anyway, except for maybe 2 or 3, the rest will be 7+ by the wedding so at that point i think they should be ok... but i definitely do not want kids running around the dance floor

no because we want it to be a grown up thing i guess... we want them at the church - but i want my siblings to be able to have fun and not have to run after their children the whole time!
