children counted

I asked both my mother and MIL to be to come up with a 60 person list. MY MIL to be gave us a list of 70 which we havent looked at yet and told my fiance that its b/c of the young children that make it over our count. My ? is do a 1 yr old, 2 yr old even 3 yr old count as say the 8th person at a table. Obviously they would not be charged per plat but I assume that they need a high chair or a booster seat and thy would then take aspot up at the table and so should therefore be counted. how about someone that might oly be a fe months old and will probably be held. any thoughts. please help. I think that the 70 was taking a little advantage us considering she knows we want a small wedding and she deliberatly went over on purpose, I am stressing!!!

At the Crest Hallow, is the 61.50 with tax and gratuity included? Do you think I can get a good deal for a febuary 2002?

Unfortunately, I don't think getting the girls dresses is going to come so easily. We kept the party small, just the best man/matron of honor, plus one usher and one bride's maid. My bride's maid works with me in an office of just three workers which limits our days off together. Add to that the fact that my matron of honor lives out of state and travels standby, and it has been making it next to impossible to get them together to try dresses.

children counted

At my hall, the first 5 children under 5 are free and any additional children under 5 are $10. Then, children between 5 and 12 are 1/2 price.

thanks, I will try and make an appointment with Jeff. Were there any other sites you would recommend. I live in Astoria and I am on a budget? I appreciate any help.

Happy Holidays

Girls,
Thanks for allthe advice. I know that we had discussed a reduced rate but main concern is table seating. I guessbifthey can sit at the table then they can be counted right? Like Ayanna had said. This is my other idea. say i have like 4-6 kids in the that young age range that might not even come. so I tell my MIL that we will have the extra 10 people addressed and if there are some that do not come then those go out, is that sensible???

Hi, I'm getting married on Jan. 7th and it's also an inter-faith ceremony. We have a Bishop and a Rabbi who work together. They are both wonderful, separately and together. If you're still interested, please let me know.

That pesky guest list

The guest list is such a laugh sometimes. The best comment I have heard so far is from my fiance's aunt. He has a large family, a lot of family overseas and I wasn't sure who all should get an invite. She saw one name and said 'They won't respond and they won't come, but you have to send a invitation' How special!! (Oh my goodness, I'm so anti-wedding plans today, I need to take a break!)

I am NOT sending her another invite. My FI said, but under protest, he will call to smooth over the situation. LOL he also said if the guy so much wants to be part of the family he should marry her already..I think it's been 5 years and they are not young people

That pesky guest list

That sounds good. I have a good one too, one of my FI's cousins is a wanted criminal and he is on the guest list, ahhhhhhhhhhh

Any info anyone? They are in Franklin Square & were recommended by my photographer....

WHAT NERVE!!!!! I think what you did was right. I would not send a new invitation. Don't let this stress you out.
