How many children do you and FH plan on having?

I'm going to stick with the none for now. I don't really have any desire for children at this point in my life and I don't feel like putting my mental illness in deeper peril.

We would like 4 or 6. No odd #'s bc i have horrible middle child syndrome - cant u tell!

We want a big family!

Thanks hun. It's a rough road and dragging FH along it is enough for now.

I love that pic. I agree on the no odd # b/c FH is the middle child by second family (parents divorced mom remarried and had more children) and he has the middle child syndrome and it *****

I have 2 kids from prior marriage but FH wants one with us, he has none. Ideally, he wants a boy. My kids are much older-almost 10 & 12, so I don't think I have to worry about middle child syndrome. It will be more like the only child syndrome. I am getting old, where the clock is ticking for us. Twins are common in our family, although it usually skips a generation. I am a twin. My twin sister did in-vitro and is currently pregnant with twins though. So we will see.

If it is up to FH 5. I would do it if money wasn't an issue and I could stay home with them. But age is also something we have to think about since we are both part of the 30+ club.

So realistically 3.

I don't know if I want children either. One day yes, the next , not so much ....
there are still many things i want to do first besides becoming a parent now.
