Children soon or wait?

FH and I will prob wait a year or so! we wana buy a house, etc. but we have already been together 10 yrs (11 by the wedding) and so we have had our alone time and are looking forward to starting a fam! we just want to be financially stable

we are waiting between 3-5 years. We will both be turning 26 shortly after the wedding and we want time to ourselves first. Especially since we are not living together until we are married.

This but more like preggers in 2- God willing have baby in 3rd yr. I'd prefer one as soon as we have a home though...

I'm torn about this...I'll be 30 and FH will 36 going on 37 when we get married. I know he wants to start right away, but I would like to enjoy a little married time with him before we a bring a baby into the mix. I want to do one big trip, hopefully the summer after we are married and would also like to have our own house so we have room for a baby. Everyone thinks we'll probably have one right away...we'll just have leave it up to fate

I'm kind of scared. In his eyes we will be doing it 'all day everyday until we get pregnant'. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

We want to start right away but I am having surgery in August and need to wait 18-24 months. So the earliest we can start is Feb 2013

Probably will wait about 2 years - I'd definitely like to be pregnant before I am 30 though... We will see what life holds though

The thing is - I dont think it is going to be easy for me to get prego :( I have PCOS and irregular cycle which are the two leading causes of infertility

I want one like yesterday...FH wants to wait a bit. We have been living together for about three years so I feel like once we get married nothing is going to change except another ring on my finger. I feel like we had our 'alone' time already.

Ughhhhh....I feel the exact same way! We have been living together for 2 years, and when people say 'take time to enjoy your time together' I'm thinking 'Isn't that what we have been doing?!?!?' I mean we will prob end up waiting a year, since we really do need to get more settled into a house...I'm also sure 'life' will kick in. But still!!!

FH and I don't want to have kids, so this question's already been answered for us. We both know plenty of married and childless (by choice) couples, and they're all extremely happy. If I had a penny for every time I've been told I'll 'change my mind' I'd be a rich woman! To each his or her own
